Just another Saturday night

I've been thinking about what sort of things I could possibly write about on a blog.  Well, I lead a rather boring life.  Work, eat, sleep, repeat...almost - I do spend a small portion of my evenings entering contests.  Since I only devote a small bit of my day to entering contests, my success rate has been less than stellar.  My winnings are minimal but include various skincare products, make-up, jewelry, handbags, and books.  All the things I love!  So I've decided to write reviews of some of the items I have won.  Much more interesting than the research papers on which I should be working.  Yes, academia is my home, but I am not tenured...yet.  Doing research and analyzing data comes easy, writing is my downfall.  Writing my reviews should give me some much needed practice.
